Q: How do I pay for in-home care services?
A: Home Care services are typically covered by private pay, though some long-term care insurance plans include coverage for home care. If you have an insurance policy and are unsure as to whether it covers these types of services, call us today! We are very experienced in working with insurance providers and can find out right away if you are covered.
Q: How do I arrange for service?
A: Just call our office or by filling out our simple online request form. Our friendly staff can handle your request and make suggestions as needed.
Q: I’m not sure what I need – can you help?
A: Yes, our staff is trained to help you determine which services are needed, and how to best meet them. If we cannot help your family, we have a strong relationship with many local service providers and can provide a referral as needed. Our goal is to help your family, quickly and successfully.
Q: What hours are available?
A: Total Care Connections provides caregiver services 24-hours/day, 7 days/week.
Q: How much notice do you need to send someone?
A: We don’t need any notice! Our team of care managers are on the clock 24 hours/day and ready to assist when you are ready!
Q: What happens when the caregiver needs time off?

A: When your caregiver requests time off, we send in a relief caregiver with similar experience to cover for the primary caregiver. They may also request a weekend relief or a few days off after several weeks of work. Sometimes the caregiver prefers no regular time off. If the caregiver gets sick, we will replace them quickly. You will never be left alone — that is our guarantee.
Q: Do you offer short term care?
A: Yes we do! We don’t require any long-term contracts or binding agreements.
Q: Will you provide care five days a week if family members can manage the care on weekends?
A: Yes. You choose the schedule and we will meet whatever your needs require.
Q: Can I interview the caregivers first?
A: We allow an introduction to our caregiver. Our company is responsible for screening, hiring, managing and scheduling the caregivers so you don’t have to shoulder that burden. We have found this to be a very successful model as caregivers who interview well, may not be the most suitable person to care for your loved one or to meet your family’s needs. If, after meeting your caregiver, you decide it’s not the best fit, we will make a change immediately until the you are completely satisfied.
Q: Do you accept payments weekly?
A: Yes. Our billing cycle is on weekly basis for your convenience.
Q: Do you bill before or after service is rendered?
A: We bill after services are rendered for your peace of mind.
